Meredith Gadd - Exercise Physiologist

Meredith graduated from the University of Western Sydney (UWS) in 2011 and began work as an Exercise Physiologist. In 2012 Meredith went on to complete her Research Honours, where she studied the "Effects of Failure and Non-failure Resistance Training on Measures of Muscular Strength and Power in Older Adults". In 2013 Meredith completed her Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology (Rehabilitation) graduating with distinction from Charles Sturt University.

In 2014 Meredith joined the team at Macquarie Exercise Centre after working as an Exercise Physiologist and Clinical Pilates instructor in a private Rehabilitation clinic in Sydney for 3 years. Meredith has worked with sports teams such as Penrith Panthers and Olympic level athletes (pole vault). However, her true passion lies with looking after everyday people and helping them get back on track.

Meredith's interest in Exercise Physiology stemmed from 8 years working in the pharmaceutical industry. Here she came to believe that drugs are not the answer to the lifestyle disease epidemic sweeping the nation. Thus, Meredith chose to help people through Exercise Physiology intervention instead.

Outside of work Meredith enjoys getting back to nature with hiking, camping and fishing. She also enjoys a nice glass of wine catching up with family and friends.
