An important Covid-19 update
ALL of our Physiotherapy Practices are now OPEN.
Our Exercise Centre will be OPENING to the general public on Monday 15th June.
We continue to make sure we are doing the upmost to keep you exercising in a safe and bug free environment, we will continue to keep up with the current NSW Health guidelines regarding COVID-19, and maintain our increased cleaning of the gym.
With this in mind we are reminding all our clients on their return to:
- bring your own towel and drink bottle
- keep your hands as clean as possible – use the hand sanitiser regularly during your work out.
- wipe down the piece of equipment when you have finished with it with the wipes provided
- cough/sneeze into your elbow/arm ideally. Wash your hands immediately if you had to use your hand.
- if you are not feeling well, message us and please do not come in.
- Stay friendly with your neighbour but give everyone plenty of space!

We’ve been providing quality, personalised physiotherapy for people throughout Lake Macquarie and Newcastle for almost 30 years. With three practice locations throughout the city in Belmont, Gateshead and Glendale, we have an experienced physio near you.
Whether you have an injury, you’ve just had surgery or you’re suffering from niggling or chronic pain, our highly trained, knowledgeable staff can help.
Massage Therapy
If you suffer from neck, shoulder, back or leg pain, we offer therapeutic massage techniques to help relieve tight muscles and stiff joints. Our experienced massage therapists also give practical advice and tips on maintaining good musculo-skeletal health.
Exercise Programs & Advice
We do an initial assessment to take your medical history, activity level and capacity. We design an exercise program based on you and your goals. Together, we’ll run through your program to check your technique is correct, so you can continue your program at home or in the gym. We review your progress every 6-12 weeks.
Core Strength
These physio-run exercise classes focus on strength and flexibility for good posture and life-long wellness. Including mat work and Pilates-style exercises, we have classes throughout the week at various locations. See times here.
Manual Therapy
Our physiotherapists know when to get hands-on and manually manipulate joints and muscles. Mobilisation helps promote the healing process of the affected soft tissues.
Hydrotherapy
Exercising in water provides buoyancy, support and a feeling of being weightless. You can move more freely as you build strength and flexibility. Hydrotherapy sessions are held at Valentine Pool.
Casting & Splints
Depending on the injury, we may need to stabilise or mobilise tissues or joints for them to heal effectively. We also specialise in waterproof casts, custom-made orthotics, taping & bracing.
Dry Needling
Dry needling is used to reduce pain and restore function through the release of myofascial trigger points in muscle.
Rehabilitation Programs
If you’ve suffered an injury or had a surgical procedure, we can design a rehabilitation program to get you back to full strength.
Stretch Class

Involves a gentle whole-body stretch in a variety of positions. For anyone wanting to maintain or increase flexibility. Ideal for post-op patients.

We’ve received a Move It Australia Better Ageing Grant to offer subsidised exercise classes for older people who aren’t getting enough exercise. To be eligible: Anyone over the age of 65 years who isn’t currently participating in more than 30 minutes of moderate activity per day.
